SECURITY & RISK AUDITS 

 

GSG’s Security and Risk Management Audits are conducted in line with the principles and guidelines outlined within International Risk Management Standard ISO 31000:2008.

These audits are fundamental to identifying areas of site-specific risk and will provide recommendations to mitigate these risks through physical target hardening and defence in depth strategies while also addressing behavioural risks identified through the review of existing policies and procedures.

GSG auditors are highly trained and qualified and personally attend sites under review so as to fully understand the operation and the specific risks relevant to the site.

Reports provided to clients are comprehensive and include a fit for purpose rating tool as a unit of measurement for management to understand the level of vulnerability identified for the site in comparison to other similar facilities. The rating tool is also designed to assist with measuring risk mitigation activities during subsequent gap analysis processes.

GSG has been instrumental in assisting organisations and facilities in reducing security related risks for over 25 years, with a particular focus on sites within the Gold Mining and Production Sector.
