Animal Management


GSG Training Services is recognised as a leader in the training of Dog Capture and Handling as well as Dog Bite Avoidance. Training Manager Graeme Raine has an extensive background in providing training in animal management for over ten years with a view to minimising risk to personnel likely to encounter animals in the course of their duties.

The more specialised field of animal care and management has been acknowledged in the recent endorsement of the Animal Care and Management Training Package (RUV04). Several of the competencies for that industry are closely linked with the compliance and regulatory services of Local Government.

GSG Training Services currently offers training in those competencies, especially for the investigation and compliance requirements. A full qualification in this new area - Certificate IV in Animal Control and Regulation (RUV40104) - is being developed for implementation in 2006.
