Local Government Compliance

There are a number of complementary skills between the regulatory functions of Local Government and the provision of security and investigation skills in the private, mining and corporate sectors. Local Government has recognised that there is a higher profile attached to some functions and consequently acknowledges the need for suitably qualified staff in the various roles performed.

As a consequence the Local Government Training Package (LGA04) has recently been endorsed and GSG is developing the Certificate III in Local Government (Regulatory Services) (LGA30404) and Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services) (LGA40504) for delivery in 2006.
